Carols Daughter - Natural Haircare & Beauty Products

I am obsessed with anything Almond. Almond Windmill Cookies from Trader Joe's, almond scented hand wash, and lately I am loving the Almond Cookie skincare products from Carols Daughter. It has a strong scent of marzipan, tonka bean, & vanilla and these are all blended with almond oil.  These products are great for treating dry skin. They have a few great Web sales going on right now as well.

The Almond Cookie Nourishing hand cream goes for $10 2.5 oz and it comforts and softens dry hands without leaving a greasy feel afterwards.

The Almond Cookie Softening body wash that goes for $10 12.0 fl oz and it offers a gentle cleanse and helps to soften dry skin. It has a great smell and a mild lather.

Lastly, I tried the Almond Cookie Frappè body lotion goes for $10 for 12.0 fl oz and it hydrates and softens dry skin.

Carols Daughter started making products with love in 1993 out of a Brooklyn, NY kitchen with her mom. She started small at local flea markets and festivals and in 1999 she opened her first store in Ft. Greene, Brooklyn. By 2016, they have launched into 30k retail stores across the country.

I went to my local Ulta at the Connecticut Post Mall, and the Carols Daughter section was pretty shopped out with only a few products left on the shelf. They can be found at plenty of other locations like CVS, Walgreens, Target, Rite Aid, & Walmart. Plus. they have tons of other products like hair products and body & skincare for all types.

No sulfates, no parabens, no petrolatum, no mineral oil, no artificial colors.

Trilogy Skin Creams

Lately I have been using Trilogy Natural Skincare which is New Zealand's NO 1 skincare brand, and the face creams are really nice. They started out in 2002 with a few items, and now they offer over 40 incredibly natural alternatives to synthetic skincare, body care, and hair care. It's easy to see why reviewers rate these face creams 4 to 5 stars out of 5 stars!

One of their signature products (one bottle is sold every 20 seconds), is their Rosehip Oil. Dita Von Teese uses it and loves it (she has perfect skin). Rosehip has been used for thousands of years to improve the skins condition. It's a great source of essential fatty acids that are vital to the health of skin - the skin does not produce this on it's own.

Trilogy was kind enough to send me over a few of their most popular creams.

The Vital Moisturizing Cream goes for $46 and it's great for daily nourishment and hydration. It's a versatile moisturizer for all skin types. Non-greasy and quick absorbing, it provides nourishment and hydration while helping to smooth the appearance of fine line and wrinkles.

The Rosapene Night Cream goes for $51 and this was 'Winner NZ Best in Beauty 2016' which is great to revive, restore, and rehydrate your skin while your sleeping. Roseapene is anti-oxidant rich oil blend that works to regenerate skin.

The Replenishing Night Cream goes for $57 and this will work to regenerate and rejuvenate your complexion. Great fragrance and this works to restore elasticity and suppleness while smoothing fine lines and wrinkles.

Whatever your skincare concern may be, they offer a solution. Whether it's dry skin, wrinkles, or breakouts, they have a suggestion.

Thanks Trilogy!

Fizz & Bubble - Bath and Body Treats

Between the harsh Winter cold and being sick lately, we have been going through Oatmeal, Milk, and Honey Mini Bath Fizzies like crazy to help restore our skin and make it feel better. The minis bath balls are the perfect size for kids too. I feel guilty using a whole Lush bomb on a quick bath for each child, but Fizz & Bubble minis are just the right size. They also make a perfect Valentine's gift for mom or the kids.

Fizz & Bubble bath treats are handmade and they are created using 8 essential oils: Olive oil, sunflower oil, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, grape seed oil, avocado oil, aloe vera oil, & jojoba oil.

They have lots of delicious flavors to pick from depending which product elected, some of the flavors are: Lavender, Hawaiian Lei, Rainbow Sherbet, Raspberry Cream, Pineapple Coconut, Mint Mojito, & Bubble Gum.

They offer the following items: Milkshakes $15 (they contain 12 mini bath fizzies of the scent of your choice), Cupcakes $10 (fizzy cupcakes available in 13 flavorful scents), Truffles $20 (9 hand-formed and look like real truffles !), Bubble Cakes $7 (for the bubble lover),  Large Fizzies $6, Mini Bath Fizzies $12 (5-packs), Bath Salts $16, Body Creams $17, Lip Scrubs $6, Sugar Scrubs $15, & Solid Sugar Scrubs $7.

Fizz & Bubble was kind enough to send me over some of their yummy sets to check out. My kids get excited whenever they see the packaging and I have to admit, it is a fun brand with great packaging. The smells are wonderful and they have something for everyone.

My pick for Valentines Day would be the Assorted Fizzy Bath Truffle Kit. They go for $20 and are available in 3 different mixes. They look good enough to eat.
Fizz & Bubble products are available at Ulta, Bed Bath & Beyond. To find out more about the brand or order online, please go to: https://fizzandbubble.com/
